This is the centralised Privacy Policy for all applications and the website operated by Mynimalistic, a small independent app studio. We are committed to handling your information with transparency and minimal footprint.

1. Who We Are
Mynimalistic is an independent app studio based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. We develop mobile and web applications. This policy covers our website (mynimalistic.com) and all apps listed on Google Play under the developer account Mynimalistic.

2. Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide
- Name and email address when you contact us via our website or email.
- Any message content you send through our contact form.
b) Automatically Collected (Website)
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via Vercel hosting infrastructure.
- Anonymised analytics via Vercel Analytics.
c) In-App Data (per Google Play apps)
- HerCycles: All data (cycle dates, symptoms, notes) is stored exclusively on-device using local storage. We have no access to it. Ever.
- Research apps (GScholar, HugFace, ArXivIt): Search queries are sent directly to the respective third-party APIs (Google Scholar, Hugging Face, arXiv.org). We do not log or retain these queries.
- Games (Neon Dive, Protocol Adapt): Game progress is stored locally on your device.
- All other apps: Usage data may be collected by Google AdMob (see Section 3).
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Most of our apps are free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the following data to serve relevant ads:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address and general location (country/city level)
- Device model, OS version, app version
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
HerCycles does not show ads and does not use AdMob.
4. Third-Party Services
Our apps and website may interact with these third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising)
- Vercel (website hosting and analytics)
- Google Scholar, arXiv.org, Hugging Face (content APIs — unofficial)
- Cloudinary (image hosting for website assets)
GScholar, HugFace, and ArXivIt are unofficial clients and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Hugging Face Inc., or Cornell University / arXiv respectively.
5. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your support emails and contact form submissions.
- To improve app performance and fix bugs (via aggregated, anonymised analytics).
- To serve ads and fund free app development (via AdMob).
- To comply with applicable laws.
We do not sell, rent, or broker your personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
- Contact form submissions: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- App data stored on-device: deleted when you uninstall the app.
- AdMob data: governed by Google's own retention policies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at hello@mynimalistic.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. For sensitive use cases (like health tracking), we specifically designed HerCycles to work fully offline with no server transmission for this reason.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Any material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of our apps or website after changes constitutes acceptance.
